• Purpose: The Bail Bond Board is responsible for licensing and regulating surety companies (bail bondsmen) operating in Brazos County in accordance with Chapter 17.04 of the Texas Occupations Code. A bail bondsman must be licensed in Brazos County before they can secure bail for persons incarcerated in a Brazos County jail facility.
