Brazos County Household Waste Collection

Brazos County provides the use of trash compactor facilities located around the county as a service to rural county residents to ensure proper disposal of household solid waste (cutting down on littering and trash burning). A rural resident may deposit garbage at any facility of his choosing-- note that some locations handle large solid waste while others do not.

Waste Collection Stickers

Use of the facilities is not free: Citizens must purchase validation stickers and affix these stickers to each item (typically a single large item or a 55 gallon bag) of waste. Stickers for all trash collection sites may be purchased in books of 10 @ $6.00*/book at the following locations:

* Effective 9/9/08; updated November 2009. Prices subject to change. Please contact the Road and Bridge department for the most up to date information.
